Grand Opening, Elite Martial Arts Mississauga!
It is with great pride and excitement that I submit the latest Blog Entry for Elite Martial Arts, Krav Maga Training Centres. Our successful Toronto location has enjoyed a great run of success operating out of the Wynn Fitness studio at 98 The Esplanade. Together, the staff and students have made this location an award winning destination for Krav Maga Training in the city of Toronto. The school is currently the top ranked Krav Maga training center in downtown Toronto and resently won the consumer’s choice for “Best Martial Arts, Toronto central region”. These accolades have all been the result of 3 main ingredients, top quality instruction, student dedication/progression, as well as a beautiful state of the art facility to operate our school out of. With so many positives that EMA Toronto has brought to the Toronto community, it was no surprise when our host location, Wynn Fitness expressed interest in expanding into their beautiful Mississauga location. Both EMA and the Krav Maga Association of Canada graciously accepted the invitation to expand our ever growing Krav Maga community to Peel Region.
Over the course of recent months, a tremendous amount of time, effort and investment has been made to offer our Krav Maga program to the community of Mississauga. Through a team collaboration between EMA, Wynn Fitness and KMC, Elite Martial Arts Mississauga took form and with it, our new operating banner “Elite Martial Arts, Krav Maga Training Centre’s” On the night of May 4th the school officially opened it’s doors to members of the Mississauga community. The most vital of instructional positions were filled by highly qualified staff. Most notably Ed Wood, Head Instructor and Co-Founder of the Krav Maga association of Canada. With his arrival came other notable instructors Patrick Wu, Mitchelle Skovemose, EMA Toronto’s own Steve Shipinkis and Matthew Bennet. Other qualified support staff who have also made generous contributions to our new school include KMC’s Joe Wierzbicki, Mark Cole and Mike Ryan. As you can clearly see, an entire team of dedicated individuals is required to make a new school a reality.
EMA Mississauga’s Krav Maga program kicked off with a full week of student-instructor meet and greets as well as an introductory lesson plans to expose our new Mississauga students to a variety of Krav Maga techniques. Many of our new students are already showing early promise in training and will certainly go far in the program. One of the most exciting prospects for our new Mississauga students is that they have just become the newest members of a top quality Krav Maga Organization. All of Elite Martial Arts Toronto, Elite Martial Arts Mississauga and Wood’s Premier Martial Arts operate under the Krav Maga Association of Canada. The KMC curriculum is widely regarded as the most modern, effective and updated Krav Maga Curriculum available to students today. The students of our schools will not only learn all the traditional techniques found in formal Krav Maga training but will also lean the most updated self defense methods available by borrowing from the very best of other complimentary Martial Arts. The end result is a superior Krav Maga curriculum that produces superior Krav Maga students. Recently both our established schools, EMA Toronto and Wood’s Premier Martial Arts hold top rank positions as “Best of” in their respected cities. It is our goal and mission to bring this same high quality standard to the city of Mississauga. On behalf of myself, the staff and fellow Krav Maga students from your affiliate schools, welcome to the KMC family! I am sure you will find that you will receive a Martial arts program that far exceeds any training expectations you had when you entered training. Train hard, stay dedicated and enjoy your experience in our program. Myself, Ed Wood and our support staff will be available to you to ensure you successfully meet all your Martial Arts and Fitness Goals.
Welcome to the Team,
