It is with great pride and excitement that Elite Martial Arts officially opened its doors on our third training centre – Elite Martial Arts Toronto West. The Toronto West location is currently offering classes out of the Wynn Fitness Clubs’ studio at 2737 Keele Street, which is the Downsview Area of the city at Keele and the 401.
As with our previous grand openings at our other Elite Martial locations, the reception at our newest location and martial arts classes in Toronto West was very well receive by everyone in attendance. The school’s co-owner and head instructor Lawrence Chan, along with lead instructor Maria Gonzalez and head Muay Thai instructor Gavin Young, offered a variety of exciting intro classes to all of our new students.
This new location is already building a great core group of students and following the school will grow around. All of our Toronto martial arts locations pride ourselves on taking a great amount of pride in the learning environment we produce for our students and allows us to offer high quality Krav Maga, Muay Thai, and other martial arts and fitness programs. All of our school locations offer a great sense of community and a warm, welcoming environment for all students to enjoy, regardless of their current skills, abilities, and martial arts level. Elite Martial Arts (EMA) Toronto West has proved to be no different during its opening week!
The support of EMA students and sense of community extends beyond the newest location in Toronto West. Perhaps the nicest and most thoughtful aspect of the grand opening week was the support our new location received from both our EMA Downtown Toronto and EMA Mississauga schools. Students from both locations eagerly traveled to support head instructor Lawrence, the staff, and be there to welcome the new students to the EMA family as the school kicked off.
Having experienced students available can make a world of difference in classes full of new students. They can help mentor, assist, and show new students the basics. The classes for the grand opening week were carefully planned to cater to new students and help them develop the basic fundamentals of Krav Maga and Muay Thai, as well as offer some great fitness workouts with our Elite Conditioning programs.
The new students at EMA Toronto West are fast learners and are already picking up the basics and building upon their skills. I know that everyone at all of our EMA locations is very much excited about the future potential of our newest students and possibility hosting our very first belt test at EMA Toronto West, with our new students in December!
As our Toronto West martial arts school continues to grow and build a community and identity of its own, it will continue to receive the full support from its extended EMA family. Everyone at EMA is a part of building something special. One day, the grand opening students will be senior students and assisting new students the basics. I realize after just one week of training it can seem hard to believe, but it will happen!
For those in the Keele and 401 area, who are looking from a great environment to learn Krav Maga, Muay Thai and fitness training, please stop by our newest martial arts school at any time or call us at (647) 704-8811.
