EMA is one of the best martial arts school if you want to learn muay thai and krav maga. Thanks to Dan and team EMA, I was able to learn how to defend myself and be physically strong. After all the trainings, I am now confident that I can overcome any physical challenges specially in the coming few days that I will be doing my basic training in the armed forces. Had never done Muay Thai in my life and this was an incredible experience. It pushes you mentally and physically, the instructors are tough but very accommodating. Great space and great atmosphere. Compared to other muay thai schools in the area, EMA has the best rates and you can purchase equipment from them at an affordable price.

I’ve been involved with Elite Martial Arts since 2019. What started as a desire to get in shape and learn a new skill exploded into earning my black belt in Krav Maga. Dan and his team make classes exciting and engaging, I hadn’t even realized just how much time had gone by because I was so excited for the next opportunity to train. In addition to Krav Maga, the school offers Muay Thai boxing where students can train to get into sanctioned fights, as many students here have. I have been going to EMA for about 3 months now for their women's Krav Maga self defense classes and definitely recommend it! You get a good workout while getting some really practical skills to protect yourself. Highly recommend trying out their classes and enrolling. It is a very welcoming environment as they start everything from the basics and make it easy to catch on even if you're a beginner. Worth highlighting that this gym has very flexible membership plans that are 3, 6, and 12 month options which make it better than other gyms that need a full year commitment from the start.

Dan Novak has been stellar! I have had poor experiences in the past with other Muay Thai gym but that has not been the case with EMA Mississauga. Instructors (Jeff, Gerine, Val) have been friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend it, especially if you are a woman looking for a place that does not have a bro/bully culture (who would, right?).

I have been to other Muay Thai/ Kickboxing gyms to for trial classes and I tend to be a little icked out when they emphasize fitness over Muay Thai techniques and practices. At EMA, they ensure that both aspects of training are being taken care of. You will always end up learning something new from the amazing group of KRUS and PC KRUS while also making sure that you are getting your conditioning. While other gyms charge for even Trial class, Dan gives you a free trial class and will provide you with really affordable fees for training, which I really do appreciate in this economy.

I had an excellent experience training at EMA. I trained at the downtown Toronto location and I really enjoyed it, they have a wide range of classes (Krav, Muay Thai) and they accept all experience levels. I am new to this studio but not to Krav. Both the owner and instructors are not only competent, kind and helpful but they all welcomed me with open arms. We've had a fantastic experience with Dan and his team at Elite Martial Arts Mississauga. My son takes the Muay Thai class three times a week and absolutely loves it.
